Bulletin Board

The Bulletin Board page is a place to offer news and announcements about members, and also to let members communicate with each other.

Kudo's to Kurt!!!!
We escaped the storm damage due to a proactive tree cutting program. Once again the residents of the borough of Jim Thorpe were allowed to use our Private Road to access their homes because of down trees and power lines!!!!

Thank You!!!
Someone recently picked up garbage along Broadview Drive
and placed it in little piles along the road. We would like to say Thank You to that person whomever they are!!! If you see any piles in front of your property feel free to get a trash bag and pick them up and throw them away.

Winter Plowing!!
In order to get ready for winter we ask that all property owners please cut back brush along their ROAD FRONTAGE!!! If we get significant snowfall the trucks can not get close to the edge because of smashing their mirrors on overhanging tree branches. This contributes to making the roads even narrower!!! Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated!!!

New Board Members Needed!!!  Can YOU do the job?  It requires a few hours a month to contribute to YOUR own community.  New voices and faces help to continue the improvements to our community!  Please contact us to be placed on this year's ballot.  We WELCOME any nominees!

Some current Board members have been involved from the beginning of the endeavor of taking over the roads in 2001.  And it was all done by plain ol' working class people who just wanted to make where they lived a better place and in the process, made it better for everyone!  It also cannot be disputed that much has been accomplished since then.  In an effort to maintain ALL the work that HAS BEEN accomplished in this community AND improved it tremendously, help in the form of volunteers are needed or the effort WILL NOT continue.  We all know there is much left to do!  But, without volunteers who care enough about the future of our roads to contribute of their time, we all will be left with roads that will return to the deplorable conditions of a few years ago.   Give back to YOUR community!  It's something you can be proud of!

Currently there are 2 vacant vice president positions open on the Board. Any paid member is welcome to approach the Board to be voted on until the next general meeting at which time Elections will be held for positions expiring after their respective 3 year term.
